In today’s digital age, the ability to collaborate effectively in virtual environments has become an essential skill for educators and professionals across various fields. This immersive 5-day course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, strategies, and practical tools to master virtual collaboration and foster effective digital teamwork.

The course will delve into the principles of virtual collaboration, exploring the unique challenges and opportunities presented by digital platforms. Participants will learn how to navigate the complexities of remote communication, establish clear communication channels, and leverage digital tools to facilitate seamless collaboration among team members.

Emphasis will be placed on developing strategies for building trust, fostering inclusivity, and promoting active participation within virtual teams. Participants will explore techniques for facilitating engaging virtual meetings, encouraging open dialogue, and ensuring that all team members’ voices are heard and valued.

The course will also address the importance of project management in virtual environments, introducing participants to digital tools and platforms for task allocation, progress tracking, and efficient collaboration. Participants will learn how to leverage these tools to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and ensure successful project completion.

To enhance the learning experience and provide a cultural context, the course will incorporate a guided cultural visit within Čakovec and Međimurje County. This visit will allow participants to explore local heritage sites, sustainable initiatives, or eco-conscious organizations, drawing inspiration and practical examples for integrating cultural elements and sustainable practices into their virtual collaboration strategies.

The classes typically run from 9 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon, with the afternoon and evening reserved for self-reflection and individual study. However, the course schedule may be adjusted to accommodate the preferences of the participants and the availability of instructors or external learning locations. Participants will receive the finalized schedule well in advance, allowing ample time for preparation and planning.

  • 400 euro per participant (covered entirely by the Erasmus grant)
