Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of Steiner’s educational philosophy, which values imagination, creativity, and a deep connection with nature.

The course will begin by introducing participants to the foundational concepts of Waldorf pedagogy, including its emphasis on rhythm, imagination, and creativity in the learning process. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the role of the teacher in the Waldorf classroom. Participants will learn strategies for creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment that fosters creativity, self-expression, and a love for learning. The use of natural materials, arts, and storytelling in the classroom will be explored as essential elements of the Waldorf approach.

The course will delve into Steiner’s philosophy on child development stages and the principles of age-appropriate curriculum design. Participants will gain insights into the importance of rhythm and repetition in learning, as well as the components of the Waldorf curriculum, which includes subjects such as arts, music, handwork, and movement.

Creative and holistic teaching methods will be a central focus of the course.
